Cotes has developed a sustainable energy sourcing technology that combines energy efficiency and clever design, with green energy, ultimately creating the most sustainable dehumidifier for large industrial processes that need extremely low dew points and humidity levels. The Cotes Ultradry uses a patented three-rotor design as part of a multi-step process to effectively remove moisture. They allow the system to pre-dry incoming fresh air before it mixes with the air from the dry room, reducing energy loss. This makes the dehumidification process more effective and energy efficient, and the lower regeneration air temperature opens up the option of using hot water instead of electricity. To heat the water, renewable and sustainable energy sources can be used to achieve considerable energy cost savings and large carbon footprint reductions with up to 85% reduction in electrical energy consumption possible.
