The raw steam/high-temperature water produced by boiler systems often contains bacteria and sometimes chemicals, making it unsuitable for humidifying air in sterile zones like hospital operating rooms.  

The Neptronic SKS4 Steam-to-Steam Humidifier solves this problem by transferring the heat energy from the hot steam through a heat exchanger. This energy source is then used to heat water to create steam on a separate, dedicated water supply that can then be injected into ductwork or air handling units (ahu) to humidify the air.

Hot Water and Raw Steam Compatible – There are two types of heat exchangers available for optimal steam generation and maintenance longevity. Copper is used for high-temperature hot water, and stainless steel for raw steam boiler systems. 

Insulated Cabinet – Fully enclosed steel, powder-painted cabinet with 25mm thick insulation, which saves energy and eliminates accidental contact with hot surfaces. 

Built-in Controller – Intuitive user interface, easy to use with a quick configuration menu, with multiple connectivity options. 

Modulating Control – Includes a linear actuated globe valve giving full modulation control of low-pressure steam.
