The Cotes C-Line Cold Store range of special adsorption dehumidifiers prevents ice from forming in sub-zero storage installations. Low-temperature and sub-zero storage facilities often have to deal with problems caused by uncontrolled airborne moisture condensing or freezing into ice on cold surfaces. This is especially prevalent around doors and openings in the cold store.

The build-up of ice in undesirable places can increase cold storage operating costs, and cause damage to stored products. This can result in higher product wastage, directly impacting customer satisfaction and profit margins.

Equipment Configuration – The units come in five sizes to suit all applications. Key components are standardised units that can be sourced from our customer services team, reducing downtime, and increasing savings on maintenance and service work. Fans are mounted inside the cabinet, which allows the unit to be installed in a wider range of positions and structures. Fitted with built-in process air heaters designed to eliminate ice formation inside the dehumidifier. 

Access – Features a large door that can easily be accessed by engineers for maintenance and service work. Filters are also designed for easy removal and replacement. 

Operating conditions – Temperature range of -25 – 40°C and relative humidity of 0-100%. 

Air Volume – The Cotes range of mobile desiccant dehumidifiers features a nominal air volume from 300m3/hour to 3700m3/hour, depending on the model.

Power Consumption: Uses the minimum energy required for maximum dehumidification compared to competitor models.
