High humidity poses a significant threat to stored vehicles, accelerating corrosion on bodywork, chassis components and brake systems while encouraging mould and musty odours within the interior. Excess moisture can also damage upholstery, carpets, electronics and leather. Conversely, air that is too dry can cause rubber seals, gaskets, plastics and leather trim to dry out, harden and crack.
