Dave brings multi-sector experience to his role as SHEQ Manager, having worked across construction, property maintenance, sports and leisure, automotive, food production, and the TV, film, and gaming industries. His career has consistently focused on health, safety, environment, and quality, with a practical approach shaped by real-world challenges.
Key highlights include his work as an IRATA-certified rope access technician, maintaining high-rise buildings and work in confined spaces. He has also built, serviced, and maintained swimming pools, spas, saunas, and steam rooms for both commercial and private clients. His film industry experience spans international productions for major studios such as Disney, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Warner Bros., Netflix, Amazon, and others, where he specialised in scanning cast, animals, props, and environments. Dave has also overseen health and safety at flagship automotive sites, managing complex risks including explosive atmospheres, high-voltage systems, LOLER compliance, and fire safety.
His broad technical background supports a proactive and informed approach to SHEQ across all areas of the business. He is also passionate about greener solutions and continually seeks ways to reduce environmental impact through safe and sustainable practices.
Outside of work, Dave swaps safety boots for hiking boots. He’s an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys mountaineering and mountain biking year-round, whatever the weather.
